Los Leoncitos, champions of the 2026 Jr Pan American Cup

The Leoncitos defeated Canada 4-0 in the final and became champions of the Junior Pan American Cup. Perfect tournament for those led by Juan Manuel Vivaldi, who were superior from start to finish in the competition and beat all their rivals, in addition to qualifying for the 2027 World Cup in the category.

The goals in the final for Argentina were scored by two players from Club Ciudad de Buenos Aires: captain Nicolás Rodríguez and Mateo Serrano. As happened in every Los Leoncitos game, “Toto” Rodríguez (25′ and 29′) scored two goals in the rout against Canada in the second quarter, as did Serrano (28′). He scored the last goal of the match again Serrano (57′)with three minutes remaining.
