Las Diablas returned to training thinking about the Nations Cup

From Sunday, February 23 to March 3, the Nations Cup will be held in Santiago de Chilea tournament that gives a place for next season’s Pro League. For that, The Devilswho will participate, are already preparing to go for the big goal.

The Chilean women’s team returned to training thinking about the step they must take at home. The competition will pit them against each other in Group A Canada (17th in the ranking), Japan (11°) and USA (13th). In B will be South Korea (15th), New Zealand (10th), Scotland (16th) and Ireland (12th). The first two from each zone will advance to the semifinals.

The past editions of the Nations Cup (women) were held in Spain (in Valencia in 2022 – Chile came in 7th place – and in Terrassa in 2024 where Las Diablas reached bronze. India won the inaugural edition, while Spain won the second.

For this process, the new coach appointed in 2024, Cristóbal Rodríguezcalled new players and added some who were already on the junior teams. In February the final list for the competition will be given.
