The Canadian Aston Martin driver was consulted in Las Vegas about the Argentine’s comments in Brazil, who accused him of always removing people from the track. “He has zero points, maybe he should concentrate on his things,” he refuted.

Mexican GP. First lap of the race. The Argentine Franco Colapinto goes on the outside radius when reaching a curve alongside Lance Stroll. The Canadian opens up and leaves the Argentine without a clue, who, to avoid contact, steps on the grass and spins. Two weeks later, San Pablo GP. First lap of the race. Gabriel Bortoleto tries to go on the outside with the Aston Martin driver and ends up against the wall. At the end of the Interlagos competition, the Argentine was consulted and, as an eyewitness to the incident (he was coming behind), declared: “Stroll doesn’t use mirrors. He’s always pushing people off the track, he doesn’t leave any space, and he sent Gabi against the wall.”

Two weeks later, rainy Las Vegas welcomed the drivers for the press day for the 22nd round of the season. The Canadian, after spending 1m23s in the TV corralito (there were no more questions to ask him), headed to the graphic media sector. There, they asked him about what the Alpine runner said and he left.

“I heard about that. I don’t know. Maybe he’s frustrated and angry with life,” he told the media, according to the Motorsport site. “I don’t know how many points he has in the championship. I can’t tell you,” he added.

Given the irony about the units collected by the Argentine (the only driver on the current grid who did not add in the year), the journalists’ response was that his account was blank. “It has zero points. I don’t know. He should probably focus on his own things and try to score some points this year. I don’t know. Not surprising. Maybe he is frustrated with his season,” he concluded.
