Kyle Guy and Nick Ongenda, best players of the fourth day of the Eurocup

American Kyle guy (La Laguna Tenerife) and the Canadian Nick Ongenda (Kids&Us Manresa) have been named the best players of the fourth day of the basketball Eurocup, with 30 rating points.

guy He scored 26 points, his best mark, with 4 of 6 on two-point shots, 5 of 8 on triples and 3 of 3 from the free throw line, to which he added a rebound, 6 assists, a steal and a foul received. His performance guided La Laguna’s 94-104 victory Tenerife against the Skyliners Frankfurt.

The Canary Islands team set a Eurocup record with 43 points in the third quarter and equaled the competition mark for points in a half with 73 after the break.

Ongenda He put together the best performance of his budding career in the continental tournament in the victory of the Manresa team over the Rome Basketball by 108-88. The center scored 20 points – also a personal record – with 7 of 8 shots from two and 6 of 8 in free throws, and added 7 rebounds, an assist, 4 steals, a block and caused 5 fouls.

Bryce Jonesfrom Tofas Bursa, achieved the highest rating of the day, with 33 points, although his team ended up losing to Naples in overtime by 105-101. He achieved a score of 32, with 7 of 9 two-point shots, 3 of 6 triples and 9 of 9 free throws, to which he added 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 6 fouls.
