Atlanta – Jimmy Butler He affirmed that His expected return to Miami to face his exequipo of Miami Heat will be just “another game” for him Tuesday.

After the disappointing defeat of the Golden State Warriors By 124-115 against the Atlanta Hawks without Stephen Curry (Pelvic Contusion) on Saturday night, Butler said that his return to Miami will not be different from his first match against former teams such as the Chicago Bulls, Philadelphia 76ers and Minnesota Timberwolves.

Butler was transferred from Miami to Golden State before the deadline of transfer last month, after a turbulent break with the Heat.

“Yes, they transferred me from there, blah, blah, blah,” Butler said after finishing 25 points, 8 assists and 4 rebounds in the defeat against Atlanta. “Yes, it didn’t end as people wanted, blah, blah, bla.

“But that was already behind. I don’t even think about it. I don’t pay attention to anything but the trajectory of this team.”

Despite the reverse in Atlanta, the Warriors (41-30) have a 16-4 record from Butler’s debut on February 8.

The Heat, meanwhile, has a streak of 10 consecutive losses for the first time since 2008. Miami has a record of only 4-17 since Butler’s transfer was formalized on February 7. During that period, Miami has been exceeded by 125 points in the last quarter, the worst record of the NBA since February 6, according to a study by AM850 Research.

This will also be the first time that Andrew Wiggins and Kyle Anderson, two Warriors who were sent to Miami in the transfer of five teams that involved Butler, face their exequipo.

“We have Jimmy here, I know that this is an important game for him,” said the Warriors wing, Draymond Green. “They have Wiggs there. I know it is a very important game for him. We want to win for Jimmy, they will want to win for Wiggs. We have to get ready to play.”

Butler, who helped the Heat reach two NBA finals during his five and a half seasons, praised Miami’s fans for his support, but said he is not interested in the reaction he will receive.

“Actually, no, it doesn’t matter,” Butler said. “I am a member of the Golden State Warriors. I love that hobby. They showed me a lot of love while I was there. But now I am here to win. I am in the opposite team.”

When asked how he would describe his time in Miami, Butler said he did not live up to the ultimate goal of winning a title.

“We were fine,” Butler said. “We didn’t win anything as we were supposed to. So I don’t know. We had some good gusts. We had a little fun. I think that’s all we did.

Meanwhile, Curry is expected to be reevaluated on Monday. And although coach Steve Kerr said that he hopes Curry returns to the team at some point in this six -game tour as a visitor, Butler is more focused on the possibility of having to find a way to win in Miami without him.

“Another game for me, another game that we hope to win all certainty,” Butler said after expressing his disappointment for the defeat against the Hawks. “So we have to solve it quickly (without curry).”
