“I still don’t know what I’m going to do, if I’m going to continue playing a little more”

Ander Herrerawhich has just closed its brief period of a year and a half in Boca Juniorsspoke about his future in the Argentine press. The 32-year-old Bilbao midfielder raised in Zaragoza did not ensure that he would continue to be active, but he gave some clues about what he wants for his future, dropping that if he stops playing he could dedicate himself to training. And specifically he talked about doing it in the Buenos Aires team.

“I have so much respect for this club (Boca) and its history that you have to train very well and be prepared to lead it. I’m going to train, I don’t know at the moment what I’m going to do, if I’m going to continue playing a little more. But obviously I like to train, work with the younger kids, but Boca are big words. Hopefully one day I’ll be ready to return to this club from another role, but I like to be humble and prudent with the steps I’m going to take.”

Ander Herrera, formerly of Zaragoza, Athetic, Manchester United and PSG, has recently been linked with a return to Real Zaragoza, where he trained and where he was until 2011, when he left for Athletic Club.
