After the European tour of the Pro League 2024/25 and the Panamerican Cup, the Lions had a deserved rest, although many returned to their clubs after their seasons in Europe ended. However, on September 9, training resumes.

The official tournament they have before the World Cup in 2026 is the Pro League season 2025/26. Although there are still no dates or confirmed venues, it is estimated that by the end of the year international competition resumes.

In addition, there is the possibility of a tour of Córdoba, as a concentration, in the last week of September, but it is not official.
