Hockey India League: when does it start and which Argentines will be part

After seven years, the Hockey India League and will have an Argentine presence. The tournament will begin on December 28, 2024 simultaneously for both branches. The finals are on January 26 (women) and February 1 (men).

To participate in this tournament, players had to fill out a subscription form, and then in the auction they may or may not be chosen. The list of players includes more than 400 national male players and more than 150 foreign players, including Argentines. Maico Casella, Nicolás Della Torre, Nicolás Keenan, Lucas Toscani and Tomás Domene. On the women’s side, more than 250 national players and more than 70 foreign players.

The men’s teams – and the Los Leones players who will be part of them – are: Delhi SG Pipers (Lucas Toscani and Tomás Domene), Hyderabad Toofans (Maico Casella) and Soorma Hockey Club (Nicolás Della Torre and Nicolás Keenan). In the ladies there will be Jimena Cedrés and Natalia Salvador (Chile) in the Soorma Hockey Club and Victoria Sauze in the Odisha Wariors.

Each of them must have 24 players, 16 national and eight foreigners. Of those 16, at least four have to be sub-21.
