Camila Osorio had a luxury presentation at the Guangzhou WTA 250. The Colombian, who had just lost in the qualy of Ningbo, gave up only three games to take a great victory against Lucia Bronzetti (No. 91) 6-2 and 6-1 after only one hour of play.

One of the best South American tennis players of the moment was very firm when it came to breaking her rival, where she completed 4 of 5 opportunities with an 80% success rate. In addition, she scored almost twice as many points as her rival (55 versus 31) and had a percentage of points scored by return of 51.2% compared to the Italian’s meager 23.3%.

This victory, at the WTA level, is the first in almost a month. The last time she had obtained such a victory was in the second round of the China Open, where she defeated Anna Kalinskaya 6-1, 4-6, 6-4.

The next step that Osorio will have to face in Guangzhou has a first and last name: Ann Li. The second best seed in the competition comes from eliminating Victoria Jiménez Kasintseva 6-4 and 7-6 (4) and will seek to win two matches in a row for the first time since August, when she achieved it at the US Open.
