Franco Colapinto: “I put a lot of effort into it, but nothing comes out”

“It was a very frustrating race. I put a lot of effort into it, but nothing comes out. We are going very slowly. At times the car is unmanageable. I don’t understand why we are going so slow, so much slower than others. Frustrating and bad race, very slow,” said the Argentinewith a grim gesture.

In the game, he emulated his great move in the first corner of Marina Bay that he had made in 2024 with Williams. Asked about this, Franco was sincere: “Last year I showed myself more and I could make good starts like today, but I could hold on. But now I’m going slowly, far from the others. It’s a long and frustrating race when everyone passes you. Everyone passed me. If I defended myself at the entrance to the corners, they passed me at the exit.”
