Alpine’s mandamás spoke after the classification of the GP of Great Britain, in which the Argentine failed, worsened and will start last.

There were eight minutes to close the Q1 of the GP of Great Britain, 12th Formula Date 1. The Alpine team had soon sent its two cars to the track and, after the first attempt, Franco Colapinto had a better time than Pierre Gaslyyour teammate. It was still going through boxes, wearing a new game of soft tires and going out to look for a stronger record. Before, the Estone team opted for a turn with the covers already used. The Argentine was about to close that lap, which did not improve what the former-Williams error arrived: he stepped on the piano at the entrance to the last curve, he got confused, came to play the barriers of containment and thus finished his qualy.

Immediately, the image was with Flavio Briatore, the mandamás of the French team, who did not hide his disappointment: he crouched his head and took his face. At the end of the Silverstone classification, Alpine found two very different realities: the Argentine was last, while Gasly reached Q3 and will start eighth (it was tenth, but advanced two positions by the penalties of Kimi Antonelli and Oliver Bearman).

Of course, Briatore’s word was expected for the closing of British Saturday and it was clear about the mistake of the Argentine: “Franco knows that he made a mistake and needs to improve and return with force tomorrow,” in reference to the race. The Piedmontés recognized the problems that A525 has and praised Galsy’s task: “Given the problems we have faced during the weekend with the driving of the car and the reactions of both pilots, the team and Pierre made a great effort for the car to pass to Q3”.

For the closure, Flavio left one more phrase with the smell of message for the Argentine: “With grill penalties, we will leave eighths, and with the unpredictable usual meteorology in Silverstone, anything can happen in the race. What today demonstrates once again is that, regardless of the difficulties we face as a team, we must always strive to the maximum and optimize the performance with the package we have. ”
