Caitlin Clark (right groin) did not play for sixteenth consecutive game. Clark has not played or trained since he was injured on July 15. However, he participated in the practice of previous shooting of Indiana’s game on Sunday against Minnesota.
Nneka Ogwumike scored 12 of his 17 points in the first half for Seattle, who saw his streak of three consecutive victories interrupted. Brittney Sykes added 12 points and Skylar Diggins gave eight assists.
Mitchell scored 16 points in the first half, Boston 11 and Sims 10 to help build a 50-39 advantage. The Faver brought 6 of 11 triples in the first half before finishing 6 of 17.
The Faver opened the third quarter with a streak of 14-4, with seven Boston points, to expand their advantage to 64-43. The score was 89-59 after Indiana scored 15 of the first 18 points of the last quarter.
