Falcao’s promise to Santiago Castrillón: “We will honor his memory in every game”
The captain of MillionairesFalcao García, sent a message of solidarity to the family of the youth Santiago Castrillón, who died after collapsing in a match of the Under 20 Tournament.
The forward expressed his pain over the death of the youth player last weekend in Bogotá.
“Today we are overcome with deep sadness. A colleague full of dreams, unmatched talent and with a bright future ahead of him is leaving us. We say goodbye to him with a broken heart, but also with the firm promise to continue fighting for what he longed for so much,” he wrote on his social networks.
As a tribute, he promised to honor his memory in every game of the Bogotá team.
“We accompany his family in this difficult time and raise a prayer that they find comfort, strength and peace. May God bless and embrace them today and always. We will honor his memory by giving our best in every game, carrying his legacy in our hearts. Rest in peace, friend,” he added.
The Colombian National Team Through the Colombian Football Federation he also expressed his condolences. He recently had a call to a youth team microcycle.
