F1: Monaco’s GP approve with two mandatory Pit
The FIA intends to improve competitiveness in the Monaco Grand Prix and will force the use of three tires games
The World Motor Sports Council of the International Automobile Federation decided to impose special rules for the Monaco Grand Prix of Formula 1 From the 2025 season and said regulation dictates that the records must do, at least, Two Pits stops During the race.
In the F1, in the rest of the great 24 -dates calendar awards the rule is that at least a career arrest should be made with the use of two different compounds of tires.

“The WMSC (World Motor Sports Council) reviewed a proposal related to the implementation of a mandatory two stops (both in wet and dry conditions) for the Monaco GP, with the main intention of improving the sports show of this race.
“After the recent discussions in the F1 commission, a specific requirement for the Monaco GP that forces to use at least three games of tires in the race has been approved, with a minimum of two different tire compounds if it is a dry race,” says the FIA statement.
The historic Monaco Grand Prix, Jewel of the F1 calendar, has been the target of criticism for the lack of overflows and races too linear and with few surprises, which has to do, also with long and width of the cars.
The World Motor Sports Council met today, February 26, at its first 2025 meeting. Chaired by President Mohammed Ben Sulayem, WMSC members joined worldwide through videoconference.
The Monaco Grand Prix will take place from May 23 to 25, eighth stop at the 2025 calendar
