The meeting with the employees has allowed us to closely share this success and the experiences of an edition of La Vuelta which is already part of the history of the Movistar Team. During the conversation, Enric Mas He has reviewed some of the learnings that his career has taught him and has especially highlighted the importance of humility and the support of those around him to face the most difficult moments: “Cycling has taught me, above all, humility. One day you can be at the top and the next lose. In those moments, my family, my friends and the team have been fundamental. You have to keep working and keep dreaming, because in the end dreams can come true,” said Enric Mas.

The runner has also addressed the transformation that cycling is experiencing and the role that technology plays in high-competition sport, as well as his next sporting challenges: “Technology has brought about a radical change in cycling. Today we have a lot of data that allows us to analyze practically all aspects of performance. I am an athlete who has had a hard time achieving victories and perhaps that is why I value them even more. My challenge is to continue dreaming and be there again, competing for great goals, especially in La Vuelta, which is my favorite race,” he explained.

With his sights also set on the future, Mas has highlighted the drive of the new generations of riders and their interest in remaining linked to cycling beyond their time as professionals: “The new generations arrive with different ideas and with great self-confidence. I think we also have a lot to learn from them. And, looking further ahead, I would be attracted to being able to accompany other riders as a manager, with a small group that would allow me to be really close to them and help them on their path.”
