Saturday was a complicated day for Richard Carapazwho suffered a strong fall in the Giro de Lombardia. After a few hours, the team EF Education-EasyPost reported on the cyclist’s situation.

The medical statement ruled out that the injuries were serious: “Difficult day for the team today. Richard Carapaz fell 30 km from the finish line in Il Lombardia. Richie suffered road rash, but no bone injuries in the accident.”
