Devis Vásquez debuted in friendly Roma vs Cannes: How did it?

Goalkeeper Devis Vásquez did not have to wait long to make his premiere as a brand new goalkeeper of As Rome: He was the headline In the friendly game that the capital team won 3-0 against Cannes.

Vásquez arrived in Rome after being free in Milan and after an acceptable season in Empoli, leaving good performances that caught the attention of the team led by Gian Piero Gasperini.

His first game was in the friendly commitment that Roma played against Cannes and that left a overwhelming 3-0 in favor of the Italians, who won thanks to the goals of El Sahaarawy, Dovbyk and Ferguson.

The presence of Vásquez was unexpectedsince Rome had confirmed its titular training with Svilar as goalkeeper. An injury in the previous warming left him out of action and opened ground for the Colombian, who fulfilled a good debut.

After this triumph, Rome has prepared several more friendlies before the formal start of the season and will face Lens on Saturday, August 2.
