Alex De Minaur (9th in the world ranking) is one of the great attractions of the professional circuit at the ATP level. The Australian, of great 2024, was consulted about the news that Andy Murray, recently retired, will be the new coach of Novak Djokovic (7th) from 2025.

In statements with Tennis Weekly Podcastdeclared: “It’s going to be amazing. My reaction when I found out was the same as that of the entire tennis world, a shock. Obviously Murray misses tennis“.

The history between De Minaur and Djokovic, so far, is two wins against one in favor of Nole. Last season, Alex managed to beat the Serbian in the United Cup, at the beginning of the year, by a double 6-4.
