Franco Colapinto spoke on his social networks after the death of Pope Francis at 88. The Argentine pilot lamented the departure of his compatriot Jorge Bergoglio.

Colapinto published in his account of Instagram A story in which Francisco can be seen greeting the faithful, with a flag of Argentina in the background.

“A leader who inspired us to be better people with his humility and his way of being. He reminded us that we all have God close,” Alpine’s man wrote.

And he closed: “Thank you for helping us find strength and inspiration.”
