Franco Colapinto was very harsh when referring to the actions of Lance Strollwhich made him spin at the beginning of the Mexican Grand Prix.

In dialogue with the media after the race at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, the Argentine Alpine driver combined anger and irony when they asked him about the action that made him delay a few seconds after the start.

“Stroll threw me on the grass… Stroll never looks at the mirrors, he always goes halfway… he shouldn’t be aiming for the car. I don’t know where he looks when he sees the mirrors, he always does the same thing and he spunbut I recovered quickly,” said Colapinto about the situation that did not involve contact or damage to his A525.

In the same interview, the 22-year-old Argentine did not make excuses and was self-critical. “I did 50 laps crawling without any grip. We pushed the hard ones to infinity, we wanted to see how far they would last,” The Buenos Aires native started by referring to the first part of the competition with hard tires.

“Later, with the soft ones I went well, but it was too late. A race without much pace and very long. As a team we didn’t have any rhythm, it cost us a tough weekend.”added the former Williams.
