Celta de Vigo beat Lyon in France and advanced to the quarterfinals of the Europa League
Celta de Vigo beat 2-0 Olympique Lyon in it Groupama Stadiumby the second leg of the round of 16 of the UEFA Europa League 2025/26. The game can be seen again for the Disney+ Premium Plan (only for South America). The first leg in Spain was 1-1.

In the aggregate, in the 92nd minute, the visit took advantage of the space and Ferran Jutglà did not fail alone against Greif for the final 2-0, which gave Celta a historic victory in France.
Tagliafico, already upset by the defeat, was sent off for a harsh tackle on the last play of the game.
Celta will play in the semifinals against Freiburg, who eliminated Genz 5-2 on aggregate.
