Yeah. Carlos Alcaraz adds another exhibition to his calendar. The Spanish tennis player will play a match against the American Frances Tiafoe on March 2 in Puerto Rico.

This was stated in an interview with EFE Mónica Puig, who will be the presenter, entertainer and commentator of the “Battle of Legends” meeting at the Puerto Rico Coliseum, in San Juan.

“We know it will be a very good match with a high quality of tennis from both,” said the first Puerto Rican Olympic champion in Rio 2016.

Alcaraz, for his part, said in a statement that he is “delighted to play for the first time in Puerto Rico.” “Playing in San Juan in front of their entire audience will be something very special. It will be a great game against Frances. I am sure that all the people of Puerto Rico will enjoy it, as will I.”

“I am excited to travel to Puerto Rico and play in this very special event. Playing against Carlos in front of such an electrifying crowd will be unforgettable. I have heard a lot about the energy of the island and the passion for the sport that is experienced there,” Tiafoe said.

In addition to the match, the players will participate in a series of activities with young people, sponsors and tennis fans. These will include community tennis courses, exclusive experiences for event sponsors, an official reception at La Fortaleza – headquarters of the Executive – and tourist visits to promote the beauty and hospitality of Puerto Rico.
