Boston presented his uniform “Gold Standard” on Wednesday night, dedicated to the “eternal tradition of winning” of the Celtics.

The uniform presents a white base with golden details, with numbers and the word “Boston” also with a golden strip, representing the success that the franchise has reaped throughout its history.

The names of the t -shirts and the trim of the numbers are delineated in black, which makes this shirt the first uniform in the history of the franchise that is not green.

Just above the sports label is the Auerbach network firm, former referer of the Celtics for 16 seasons (1950-66). During his stage as the main coach, Auerbach took Boston to nine NBA championships, including a historic streak of eight consecutive titles between 1959 and 1966. He obtained a 795-397 record in the regular season and a 90-58 record in postseason with Boston.

On the back of the shirt neck is a patch of 18 times champion, which pays tribute to its 18 NBA titles, from the first in 1957 to the most recent in 2024, after defeating the Dallas Mavericks in five games.

Boston is no stranger to wear a golden tone on his shirts. He presented golden trim in his uniforms City Edition 2019-20, 2022-23 and 2023-24.

The Celtics have not announced when they will use the City Edition this season.
