Benidorm will host the 2031 Cyclocross World Cup, as agreed by the International Cycling Union (UCI), at its annual congress.

The designation of the Alicante city comes after its circuit has been one of the World Cup events in its last four editions, in which more than fifteen thousand spectators have come to witness the event.

The president of the Spanish Cycling Federation, José Vicioso, was in charge of collecting in Montreal the badge that accredits Benidorm as the venue for the 2031 World Cup.

In January, the organizer of the World Cup events, Pascual Momparler, already assured that he saw the designation as feasible.

On January 17, 2027, the Benidorm circuit will once again host a world championship test already with the certainty that four years later he will distribute the ‘rainbow jerseys’ of cyclocross.
