Back to Spain 2025: Pellizzari is imposed on the Morirero and Vingegaard remains a leader

The Italian Giulio Pellizzari (Red Bull Bora Hansgrohe) has been imposed on the seventeenth stage of the Vuelta, disputed between or Valdeorras boat and the Alto de El Morirero, 143.2 km, in which the Danes Jonas Vingegaard’s red jersey retained.

Pellizzari, the best young man, premiered his record at the top of El Morierro alone with a time of 3h.37.00, at an average of 39.6 km/h, followed by the British Tom Pidcock 16 seconds, Jai Hindley to 18, Jonas Vingegaard at 20 and Joao Almeida.

Vingegaard kept the red jersey with a difference of 50 seconds over Almeida and 2.28 compared to Pidcock.

This Thursday the nineteenth stage will be played, an individual time trial with departure and arrival in Valladolid and a 27.2 km route
