Back to Spain 2025: Ben Turner is imposed on Sprint in Vairon and Gaudu, the new leader
The British Ben Turner (INEOS) has been imposed on the sprint in the fourth stage of the Tour of Spain, played between Susa and Viron, with a route of 206.7 km, in which the Red Jersey of leader was put on the leader David Gaudu (Groupama).
Turner marked a time of 4h.50.14, at an average of 42.7 km/h, followed by the Belgian Jasper Philipsen (Alpecin) and his compatriot and partner Edward Planckaert.
In the General, and for the “Postometer”, the Frenchman Gaudu becomes a leader, with the same time as the Danish Jonas Vingegaard. The third place is for the Italian Giulio Ciccone (Lidl), 8 seconds.
