After the elimination of Alcaraz in Paris: What does Sinner need to be No. 1 in the world again?

Carlos Alcaraz suffered a real surprise in his debut in the Paris Masters 1000. The Spaniard lost in the second round of the French tournament against Cameron Norrie and said goodbye very early to the last tournament in this category in 2025. This opens a small chance for Jannik Sinner, who can regain the world number one.

What the Italian and former leader of the ATP world rankings needs is very simple. You only have to be champion in La Défense Arena and obtain the 1000 points that the competition distributes. He currently has a total of 10,510 points so, if he is champion, he will reach 11,500. While the Spaniard stayed at 11,250 units.
