News about Drenthe’s condition one year after his stroke: “You don’t wish him on anyone, he’s trapped in his own body”

Royston Drenthe (38 years old) For a year now, he has been playing the most difficult match of his life. On October 17 of last year, the former Real Madrid footballer suffered a stroke from which he has not yet managed to recover, according to his former teammate Eljero Elia.

At least, the former player was able to leave the hospital a few months ago and is recovering in the warmth of his home with his family.
