Juan Carlos Ferrero, former coach of Carlos Alcaraz: “I’m returning to the circuit”

The former tennis player Juan Carlos Ferrero, who was Carlos Alcaraz’s coach for years, slipped this Tuesday his return to the ATP circuit but did not reveal which player he will coach on his return.

“This year (I am) calm, with the family, dedicating myself to the children who play soccer for me instead of tennis. A little calm and preparing for what is coming next year. “I can’t reveal it yet, I think I’m back on the circuit but I can’t say with whom.”he noted in an interview with Movistar Plus Deportes prior to the match between Elche and Real Madrid.

In December 2025, Alcaraz announced that after seven years Juan Carlos Ferrero would stop being his coach. The man from Alicante admitted that he would have liked to continue with the Murcian tennis player after having guided him to the elite of World tennis.
