Isabel Díaz-Ayuso, president of the Community of Madrid, attacks Pedro Sánchez and TVE for the Spanish Formula 1 GP: “The coverage it is doing is embarrassing. It is at the service of the Government and it is doing everything possible to tarnish the success of this event”
The circuit of Madring will host the Spanish Formula 1 GP this Sunday for the first timea race that has aroused great interest as it is a recently completed semi-urban circuit.
The first days have been characterized by a large influx of public and great interest from the media, in addition to the occasional political controversy.
In addition to noise complaints, in recent hours Isabel Díaz Ayuso has harshly charged against Spanish Television for, in his opinion, not paying enough attention to the race.
“The coverage that public television (TVE) is doing of the Spanish Formula 1 Grand Prix is embarrassing“he lamented in a message on his ‘X’ account.
“This channel is at the service of the Government and is doing everything possible to tarnish the success of this event which is an opportunity and pride for the entire country and for the rest of the world” added the president of the Community of Madrid.
We remember that TVE does not have the broadcasting rights for this race, held by DAZN and Mediaset (Telecinco)which will offer the race live and open this Sunday at 3 p.m.
The Madring circuit, located in the capital of Spain, between IFEMA and Valdebebas, experienced the first classification in its history this Saturday, and It became the home of leaders and VIP guests who did not want to miss the event.
Of course, Sunday will be the big day. The race will bring together a larger number of guests, with the attraction of being able to get closer to the teams’ garages and, above all, see the cars up close on the grid until minutes before the start.
Already the day before, Madrid welcomed numerous personalities who followed the activity closely. Among them were the Real Madrid footballers Thibaut Courtois, Éder Militão and Rodrygo Goes, the American actor Patrick Dempsey, the singer Luis Fonsi, the former footballer Miguel Torres and the Brazilian Roberto Carlos, who wore a cap signed by the Spanish pilot Fernando Alonso.
Diego Pablo Simeone, coach of Atlético de Madrid, took center stage, in charge of giving Lando Norris the pole wheel after the British driver achieved first place in the classification.
