Despite going out in the time trial, Mas does not claim victory in La Vuelta: “It is never enough”
Enric Mas has had a great performance in the individual time trial of the 18th stage of La Vueltto. Mas leaves the time trial with a difference of 1’37” compared to Roglic with three stages left, two of them very mountainous and with the ‘trap’ circuit on the last day.
Given this scenario, Enrique does not ring the bells: “It is never enough with rivals like Primoz, like Gall, Richard, Oscar… they are rivals that can surprise you at all times, so you have to be super attentive and we can never be confident because we can lose.”
