Badalona will challenge the world record with the largest KO Tournament in history

Badalona It will be the venue for the “Largest KO Tournament in History”, an event organized by the ACB and the Badalona City Council, in collaboration with Endesa. The competition, which seeks to establish a new world participation record, will mark the start of the 2026-27 season on September 19, 2026. It will take place at the Fan Zonenext to the Palau d’Esports de Badalona, ​​in the Plaza Josep Tarradellasjust before the start of the Super Cup Endesa.

The main objective of this initiative is to exceed the number of 711 participants, thus establishing a new world record in a basketball knockout tournament.
