Justice rejects paralyzing the stands and walkways of the Madrid F1 Grand Prix

A Madrid court has denied the precautionary measures requested by the Association for the Defense of the Environment and for Sustainable Urbanism to suspend the license of the Formula 1 Grand Prix which will be held in September at the capital’s ‘Madring’ circuit, which included the paralysis of the installation of stands, walkways and hospitality spaces.

As reported by the City Council in a statement, the Contentious-Administrative Section of the Court of Instance of Madrid Plaza number 18 has thus rejected the request for precautionary suspension while the judicial procedure on the merits of the matter is resolved.

The court, according to the Madrid City Council, has considered that The adoption of these measures would cause “a serious disturbance of the general interests”, by preventing the celebration of the event and the attendance of “a large number of motorsport fans” starting next September 11.

The resolution allowstherefore, that the actions linked to the installation of the necessary structures for the Grand Prix continuewhile the processing of the judicial procedure continues.
