Pogacar explains the reason for his lethal attack in Andorra: “Everyone in the general classification was going to go after me and I decided to attack”

Asked about the margin he has at the top of the general classification, ‘Pogi’ He assured that “any income is good. Today has been a good day and I have a lot of confidence for the rest of the stages and from here on we will go day by day and focus on the rest of the stages.”

He remembered that when he looks back and remembers his first victories in La Vuelta and in a grand tour in 2019 “good memories come to mind seven years ago in Andorra. It is one of the best moments of my career.”

At this point it makes more sense that Pogacar wears red until Grenadebut he tries to stay focused. “We will see with the advantage I have, we will control each stage, day by day we will have to fight. We have a very strong team and we know it will be demanding.”
