The 2026 Vuelta starts today in Monaco with a very technical individual time trial

As in the year 2024 in Portugal, the 81st edition of La Vuelta begins rolling today with a short individual time trial through the streets of Monaco.

A very technical 9.4 kilometer CRI, where the first leader of the race will be decided by small details.

The first runner to start will do so at 4:17 p.m., an honor that will correspond to the Kern Pharma Team rider Diego Uriarteand the last to arrive is expected to do so at 7:30 p.m., after the Slovenian Primoz Roglicwearing bib number 1, take the start at 7:20 p.m. At stake, the first red jersey of the race.

As is usual in this type of day, the temperature will rise as the race progresses.
