France snatches third place in the world ranking from England

The selection of Francewho beat Wales in Cardiff this Sunday in a match on the second day of the Six Nations tournament, was placed in the third position in the world rugby ranking by surpassing that of Englanddefeated in Edinburgh by Scotland in the Calcutta Cup.

France stands with 88.40 points compared to the 87.71 of the XV de la Rosa after the invariable leaders of the table, South Africawith 93.94, and New Zealandwith 90.33.

Argentina It remains in sixth position with 84.97 and that victory allows Scotland to rise to ninth place with 81.10 and overtake Italy, now tenth with 79.81.

Uruguay continues in fourteenth place with 69.16 points, just ahead of Spain, fifteenth with 69.16, while Chile is seventeenth with 66.71.
