Official: the breakout of stars in ASVEL reinforces another Euroleague team

The German player arrived at Efes in the summer of 2025 from Bayern Munich. Although he signed for two seasons with the option of a third, he became a free agent this summer just one year after arriving in Istanbul.

Officially awarded the prize for Best Defender of the Euroleague During the 2024/2025 season, this season he averaged 7.7 points, 3.4 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game in the continental competition and 4.9 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.9 assists in the Turkish league.

Weiler-Babb’s departure from Asvel joins those of Brooks, who will play on loan at the Valencia Basket the next campaign, or that of Franscico, one of the great stars of the competition, who reached an agreement with the Panathinaikos of Zeljko Obradovic.
