Aldama’s transfer to the Mavs is completed after a complex six-way operation
The experienced forward Chris Middleton was transferred this Tuesday to the Washington Wizards in one six-way operation which also includes the arrival of Spanish Santi Aldama to the Dallas Mavericksa movement already known.
The teams involved, in addition to the Wizards and Mavericks, are Memphis Grizzlies, Detroit Pistons, Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Clippersas reported by ESPN.
Middleton, who was a free agent, signed a three-year contract for 17.6 million dollars with the Mavericks, his last team, to be immediately transferred to the Wizards, the franchise that had sent him to Dallas in the middle of the season.
The Wizards, for their part, sent D’Angelo Russell, who arrived in Washington in the middle of the season from Dallas but did not make his debut, Memphisplus several future rounds of the draft.
The Pistons sent Marcus Sasser to the Mavericks, to Isaiah Stewart to the Grizzlies now Caris LeVert to the Bucks. In exchange, they received Taurean Prince and Gary Harris from Milwaukee already John Collins of the Clippers.
The Mavericks, in addition to receiving Aldama, transferred AJ Johnson to the Bucks, who returns to Milwaukee after spending time in Washington and Dallas.
The deal includes draft rounds for several of the teams, cash for Milwaukee, as well as cap space savings for Detroit.
