They arrest a footballer when he was warming up to play a match

The Ecuadorian soccer player Jose Hernandezof the Mushuc Runawas arrested a few hours ago when he was warming up to play against the Catholic University of Quito the match that faced both teams on the seventeenth date of the First Division of Ecuador.

Agents of the Ecuadorian National Police entered the Atahualpa Stadium field when Hernández was performing warm-up exercises with his teammates, and the video of the police officers taking the handcuffed soccer player away from the stadium soon went viral on social networks. According to local media, the arrest responds to a lawsuit for alleged non-payment following a child support trial.

The arrest forced the Mushuc Runa coach, Paul Vélez, to make an unexpected change to his starting eleven, as Hernández was in the lineup to start the match as a left back, but his place finally had to be filled by Jeremy Cusme. The situation did not take its toll on Ponchito, who caused the surprise by winning 2-3 against the Catholic University.
