Mahrez leads Algeria’s call for the World Cup
Algeria will compete in the 2026 World Cup after missing the last two editions of the competition. Vladimir Petkoviccoach, has already made official this Sunday the list of players who will leave for the American continent. The call is led by Riyad Mahrezcurrent player of the Al-Ahli Saudi The winger was one of the winners of the historic Premier League of the Leicester City in 2016 and then left its mark on the Manchester City of the ‘Guardiola era’.
Apart from Mahrez, the players who stand out the most are Rayan Aït-Nouricurrent left back of the Manchester City, Ramy Bensebainiof the Borussia Dortmund, Ibrahim Mazaof the Bayer Leverkusen, Amine Gouiricenter forward Olympique de Marseilleand Houssem Aouarof the Al-Ittihad but with a past in it Olympique Lyonnais and in the AS Roma.
