In a highly contested match, with constant physical rigor and few spaces, the local team was behind in the score for much of the 80 minutes, but reacted and took better advantage of its moment in the final stretch to seal a more than important victory. The wind in favor of the visit in the first half was a determining factor in determining its superiority. Despite this, the process was even and intense, with both defenses being protagonists. In this framework, the only victory was for the Canario, who, led by Tomás Bernasconi, went into the break with a 13-3 lead. Everything was radically modified during the complement. There was a complete change of direction, where the hosts slowly took over the actions to reduce the distance, thanks to the aim of fullback Bautista Santamarina, and then turned the result around 10 minutes from the end with Gastón Martínez’s great try, which ended up defining the match.
