World ranking: Las Diablas close to the Top 10

The Chilean women’s team finished the World Cup with several objectives achieved: They qualified for the 2026 World Cup, won the gold medal and also climbed the international ranking. They started the tournament in 15th place and finished it in 11th.

The biggest jump in the ranking came from the two victories they achieved against Australia, eight in the world. The scoring system allows you to gain or lose points in each official match.
