Italy, with Argentines on the team, qualified for the semifinals of the World Cup

After drawing with Korea 1-1 at the close of the group stage, the women’s team Italy managed to secure being among the four best in the Indian Pre-World Cup and continue in the race to get the place they so desire for the 2026 World Cup. In the zone, they accumulated four points: a 5-2 defeat against the favorite England and a 3-0 victory with Austria before this tie.
