Lewis Hamilton appeared in Azerbaijan and dominated the trials with Ferrari!

Ferrari’s first day was so strong that George Russell was third with his Mercedes, 477 thousandths from Hamilton. And fourth got another needy of good results urgently: Kimi Antonelli, with the other silver arrow, nine thousandths of his partner.

And McLaren? Far away. The cuckoo of the tournament, which can seal its tenth crown of builders in Azerbaijan (needs to add nine more points than Ferrari) had a very bad time. Between reliability problems, blows to the walls and a distant performance to what it usually shows, Lando Norris was tenth and Oscar Piastri, 12th.
