Egan congratulates his winning partner and throbs the chrono by teams
Egan Bernal highlighted the victory of Ben Turner, his partner in Ineos, in the fourth stage of return to Spain 2025.
One of his soldiers was the fastest in the massive arrival in the French city of Viron. He attacked back and crossed the goal first.
“He deserved to win and got it. He is a very strong man,” The Colombian declared.
The day was the longest with 206 kilometers and last departure in Italy.
“The truth was we thought about all day in tomorrow’s chrono, Ben wanted to do the sprint and won. But, in general I think we were trying to keep for the chrono,” added.
The race changed leader. The Frenchman David Gaudu went to the first place. Egan is fourth to 14 seconds. In the fifth stage he will have a chrono for teams of 24 kilometers in Spain.
“For the moment to make a good chrono with the boys and then try to recover and look at how we are in the first arrival at high”he finished.
