Franco Colapinto: “It was the best Friday with Alpine”
The Argentine analyzed his work in the training of the GP of Great Britain, in which he was consisting of his task, but was complicated with the performance of the Alpine.
Franco Colapint closed Friday with another countenance, different from the one he had after the training of Canada and Austria. This could be seen in the note with AM850 after closing the first day of the GP of Great Britain, 12th F1 date. His work was consistent and growing at each exit, but, of course, the car did not leave the bottom of the classification.
“It was the best Friday. It was what we were working on and we knew that it was going to be a difficult track for us and it is being. So, to work at night to make a little better,” said Williams Expilot.
Then, he explained some of the weaknesses of the A525: “When we put the soft rubber, the car is very unstable and unpredictable. I was with less aerodynamic load; Pierre went up because the car was moving a lot. The wind affects us a lot and makes us the car is unpredictable. Without the wind, it was competitive, but when the wind appeared the car the car became very difficult. We have to maximize what we have to Argentine
This Saturday will be the third batch of training to try something new in search of a little more performance and then the time for the classification will come.
