Toronto-The New York Yankees placed the right pitcher Fernando Cruz in the 15-day injured list on Monday due to a distension in the left oblique and selected the right-handed Geoff Hartlieb of Triple-A to cover his position.

Meanwhile, gardener Trent Grisham left Monday night against Toronto’s tiles after four tickets due to an injury to the tendon of the left corva.

Jasson Dominguez replaced Grisham in the defense in the fifth entrance, entering to play in the left garden while Cody Bellinger moved from the left to the central.

Grisham left 2-1 before leaving. He connected a single to open the fourth inning and scored with the fourteenth Jazz Junrón Chisholm Jr.

The Austin Wells receiver was out of the alignment for the second consecutive day on Monday, and the manager Aaron Boone explained that Wells is out due to a circulation problem in one of the fingers of his left hand.

Boone said the injury was probably due to the “wear of the reception,” but added that Wells underwent several tests to rule out the possibility of a blood clot. As a result, Boone said Wells will probably be on Wednesday, and added that JC Escarra will be the starter behind the plate until Wells return.

“Everything we have received has been good so far,” Boone said about the results of Wells tests. “It is not something that affects you in terms of performance.”

Wells bat for .214 with 11 homers and 45 races promoted in 69 games. Last season he connected 13 home runs, the greatest amount of his career.

Cruz’s permanence in the injured list is retroactive as of June 28. Four-year-old veteran in its first season with the Yankees, has a 2-3 record with an effectiveness of 3.00 and two salvages three times. Cruz has not allowed clean runs in 26 of its 32 appearances and has eight outings without allowing a single hit.

Cruz felt pain while heating with a medicinal ball before Sunday’s victory over the Athletics and underwent a magnetic resonance on Monday, Boone said.

“I hope it’s not too long and we can recover it a little fresher for the rest of the game,” Boone said.

Cruz did not launch between May 17 and June 4 due to inflammation in the right shoulder.

To open space to Hartlieb in the squad of 40 players, the Yankees assigned the infielder CJ Alexander.
