Robert Lewandowski exceeded 100 scores against Athletic Club after his double in the first minutes to register 101.

Barcelona – Robert Lewandowski reached its first 100 goals with Barcelona in San Mamés. After six games without seeing the door and anchored in the 99, it took 14 minutes in San Mamés to, assisted by Fermín, beat Unai Simon and open the Barca victory with this goal so marked. In this way, six and a half weeks after scoring a double against Borussia Dortmund in Montjuïc, he fired the season in Barca again celebrating again.

In fact, just three minutes later he scored the 0-2, his 101 goal number 101 to fire the course with his usual average, without time to reach the top scorer of LaLiga, Kylian Mbappé, but more than fulfilling his mission in the Barca club, with which this campaign adds 42 goals in 52 appearances.

The Polish, who has fulfilled his third season in the Barca club and has another contract ahead, improved his numbers of the first two courses and in Barcelona there is unanimity regarding both his continuity and the full confidence that exists in him.

“You have to control the market, of course, and be attentive, but today we do not see a scorer better than Robert for Barça” moved the last week to AM850 from the club, coinciding with both the sports plot that Deco commands and the institutional that today is indisputable …

But, also coinciding with the need to go looking for a young, first level footballer, to raise his succession, without ruling out that this successor is also considered from the sports plot, Ferran Torres could be.

HISTORY

Lewandowski thus became the 22nd footballer in Barça’s history to reach 100 goals and it is understood that next season, in normal conditions it should exceed 117 shared by Hristo Stoichkov and Estanislau Basora, 15th and 14th in the historical classification.

The story, from the entrance, shows that it is the ninth soccer player who reaches faster those 100 goals. Doing it in 148 official matches and what we could call modern football was only behind Luis Suárez, who reached those 100 goals from Barca in 2017 after playing 120 games.

If in current football it can be understood almost impossible to reach that average filmmaker of the Uruguayan striker, in the history of the club it remains behind the 133 games that Samitier needed … and of the 78 of the legendary Paulino Alcántara, the first great scorer of the club who won them in 1922.

To put in perspective, Leo Messi said 188 games, Rivaldo 173, Eto’o 154, César Rodriguez 171 or Neymar 177.
