88-76: Bilbao redeems itself after its defeat in Madrid and beats Andorra with a lot of work
He Surne Bilbao Basket has recovered a week after the great setback against the real Madrid (119-84) last day and returned to the path of victory at the cost of a Morabanc Andorra who stood up in a round-trip match to which the locals came with more energy.
The Bilbao team worked hard from the beginning to minimize the damage that the Andorran star could cause. Kyle Kuricwho had just scored 26 points last day against Breogán, and achieved it in a first half in which, however, he could not do the same with Akinjo, the catalyst for the clear advantage at the end of the first quarter (15-22) for Andorra.
The second quarter took place with the Bilbao team behind the scoreboard against a team from the Pyrenees that had the Ukrainian giant at its best. Pustovyi (2.19) and that he did not do more damage due to a low percentage in the triples that would improve in the last minutes of this period.
In this final stretch before the break, Bilbao Basket would also be activated and with Normans and Somogyi He turned the light around, to finally achieve his goal of commanding the match (38-37) against an Andorran team that had no intention of giving in.
Surne Bilbao entered the third quarter like a shot and a 5-0 partial would give them a margin that they would not lose throughout the match because the local defense became inscrutable for a visiting team that would suffer the rain of three triples in a row that gave the Basques a significant advantage before the last quarter.
