NFL Draft Starts Tonight

The wait will be over for some and it will continue for others as the NFL Draft gets underway tonight in New York.

The St.Louis Rams are on the clock with the first pick and most experts believe they will select Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford.

Detroit picks second, followed by Tampa Bay, Washington and Kansas City. Most think the Bucs will go defense and draft a defensive tackle with the third pick. The selection by Detroit is a little more up in the air.

Jacksonville selects 10th in the first round while Miami goes at number 12. Many believe the Jags could take Alabama linebacker Rolando McClain and the Dolphins could go defensive tackle because of the suspension of Jason Ferguson but as always, there will be surprises.

Former Gator players are in abundance in this draft and most believe that cornerback Joe Haden and offensive lineman Maurkice Pouncey will go in the first round. Players like tight end Aaron Hernandez, linebacker Brandon Spikes, quarterback Tim Tebow and defensive lineman Carlos Dunlap could go anywhere from late first round into the third round but most experts believe Dunlap has the most potential to be picked in the first round of those three players.

Defensive end Jermaine Cunningham, wide receiver Riley Cooper and safety Major Wright are also hopeful of being drafted but they could be second day selections.
